Evil Canadian Elf

They were said to have been seen recently in a Canadian graveyard, witnessed by a man and his children. The children received claw marks on their bodies, showing the incident wasnt just imagined, but a paranormal event.
This is how one of them was described in looks, (shoe here just for size comparison), and said to be all red. Even the skin. The closest creature known to fit this description is the Clurichaun from Celtic myths. So, could this be the Clurichaun? Is this lep in the hood doing no good?
