The Queensland Tiger

Tales of a tiger or leopard with stripes like a Tasmanian wolf being seen or reported hae come from Australia from decades. They said it would walk like a big cat, but would run with a hopping motion. It also nefarious for being able to disembowel dogs that cornered it. The sounds they mentioned were a loud hiss if startled, and sometimes "Rat teeth". Native Australians mention it's always been there known as the Yarri.
Does a escaped tiger be to blame? Or escaped leopards? Or does thylacoleo still stalk among us?
