The Original Hobbit

In the ancient myth and folklore of Western Europe, the Hobgoblin (House goblin), also known as the Brownie, is a friendly, furry fairy that loves to live in homes with humans and do house chores. Brownies are said to look like rough, hairy little old men that stand anywhere from a foot tall to 4 feet high. They have long arms that hang to their knees, shaggy beards, and a single nostril or a hole in place of a nose. They also have huge rough feet covered with hair on the top, and love nothing more than butter, toast, soup and a relaxing smoke.
The Brownie is the original Hobbit and the same creature Tolkien based the hobbits off of.
